Katrín Jónsdóttir (born 31 May 1977) is an Icelandic football player and captain of the national team. Katrín is currently the captain of Icelands national team and competed in UEFA Women's Euro 2009. Katrín plays for Valur at club level. During her time in Norway she finished her medical studies and is now also a practising physician.
